“Genderless Paris” Series
Photo Project about Gender-Inclusivity in Paris
“Genderless Paris" by Inés Prelovšek is a photography project that challenges the gender norms entrenched in the fashion industry, particularly within the realm of lingerie. In collaboration with the french lingerie label, Avant Minuit, founded by Adélaïde Brient, Ines showcases a collection of lace lingerie designed to embrace and celebrate every body, regardless of gender identity.
While mainstream lingerie caters to conventional gender binaries, this project seeks to provide an inclusive space for trans women, non-binary individuals, and those who identify as gender non-conforming. Inés and Adé deliberately chose to photograph during Paris Fashion Week, using this prominent platform to express poignant critiques on gender neutrality, body positivity, and sustainability within the fashion industry.
All the models featured in this project identify as queer, further underscoring the commitment to inclusivity and representation in challenging traditional norms of the industry. We feel very honored that “Genderless Paris” was published in KALTBLUT Magazine. KALTBLUT Magazine stands for a limitless symbiosis between art, photography, fashion, music and media. The theme of every issue works as a platform for artists to showcase their personal interpretations and point of view.
